Prawo nakłada na pracodawcę obowiązek posiadania instrukcji obsługi w języku polskim dla maszyn i urządzeń użytkowanych na terenie zakładu. Jeżeli „instrukcja oryginalna” nie istnieje w języku lub językach oficjalnych państwa członkowskiego, w którym maszyna będzie użytkowana, tłumaczenie na ten język lub języki powinno zostać dostarczone przez producenta lub jego upoważnionego przedstawiciela albo przez osobę wprowadzającą maszynę na dany obszar. Tłumaczenie powinno być opatrzone napisem „Tłumaczenie instrukcji oryginalnej”. Sankcje za brak instrukcji w języku polskim zależą od decyzji organów kontrolujących i tak np. mogą zostać nałożone podczas kontroli Państwowej Inspekcji Pracy i wynikać z zapisów ustawy z 26. 06. 1974 r. – Kodeks pracy – dalej k. p. mówiących o naruszeniu zasad i przepisów BHP. Sankcje mogą wynieść od 1000 do 30. 000 złotych, a oprócz kar finansowych może zostać nałożony nakaz wyposażenia maszyny w instrukcje w języku polskim.
Uzasadnienie
Każdej maszynie wprowadzanej do obrotu na terenie UE powinna towarzyszyć dokumentacja techniczno-ruchowa, której zakres i forma powinny być zgodne z dyrektywą maszynową 98/37/WE, a od 29. 12. 2009 r. z dyrektywą maszynową 2006/42/WE. Zakres informacji podanych w tym dokumencie powinien umożliwić identyfikację maszyny, jej bezpieczną obsługę oraz prowadzenie prac konserwacyjnych.
Obecnie sprawy dotyczące Dokumentacji Techniczno-Ruchowej reguluje dyrektywa maszynowa 2006/42/WE, a w prawie polskim rozporządzenie Ministra Gospodarki z 21. 10. 2008 r. w sprawie zasadniczych wymagań dla maszyn – dalej r. w. m.
Zgodnie z § 58 r. :
Maszyna wprowadzana do obrotu lub oddawana do użytku musi być wyposażona w instrukcje.
Instrukcja powinna być sporządzona w co najmniej jednym języku oficjalnym Unii Europejskiej. Na takiej wersji lub wersjach językowych, zweryfikowanych przez producenta lub jego upoważnionego przedstawiciela, powinien być umieszczony napis „Instrukcja oryginalna”.
Jeżeli „Instrukcja oryginalna” nie istnieje w języku lub językach oficjalnych państwa członkowskiego, w którym maszyna będzie użytkowana, tłumaczenie na ten język lub języki powinno zostać dostarczone przez producenta lub jego upoważnionego przedstawiciela albo przez osobę wprowadzającą maszynę na dany obszar.
Maszyna powinna być wyposażona w „Instrukcję oryginalną” oraz, jeżeli ma to zastosowanie, w „Tłumaczenie instrukcji oryginalnej”.
W uzasadnionych przypadkach instrukcja konserwacji maszyny przeznaczona do korzystania przez wyspecjalizowany personel zatrudniony przez producenta lub jego upoważnionego przedstawiciela może być napisana tylko w języku, którym posługuje się personel.
Treść instrukcji, oprócz opisu zastosowania zgodnego z przeznaczeniem, powinna również uwzględniać możliwe do przewidzenia niewłaściwe użycie.
W przypadku maszyn przeznaczonych do ogólnego stosowania, instrukcja powinna być sformułowana w sposób jasny, przejrzysty, umożliwiający wszystkim użytkownikom łatwe korzystanie z niej.
Zgodnie z art. 283 § 1 ustawy z 26. – Kto będąc odpowiedzialnym za stan bezpieczeństwa i higieny pracy albo kierując pracownikami lub innymi osobami fizycznymi, nie przestrzega przepisów lub zasad bezpieczeństwa i higieny pracy, podlega karze grzywny od 1000 zł do 30. 000 zł.

I did this about 3 years ago and it took some searching to find the right hole under the mower back then. Of course, I forgot after 3 years so this video came in handy and has been added to my favorites for next time. Although Sears no longer sells the replacement part for this :( (I was able to find one on Amazon)
Thank you so much for saving me a lot of time finding out where the spring and everything else goes. It did take me about ten minutes, plus another thirty finding the right tools in my messy tool area, and some more draining and refilling the gas tank to prevent gasoline all over the place.
But the cable doesn't go through the big rectangular opening in the deck. That would cause it to rub against the edge of the opening every time you pull on it; it will just keep wearing out and breaking over and over. What you have to do is put the spring through the circular opening at the front of the slot where the retaining clip snaps into the deck before you snap the clip into place. It looks like it won't fit, but if you line the spring up vertically and insert it straight downwards it will wiggle right through the hole. Then snap the clip into place and attach the spring as shown in the video. Hope this helps.
Thank you for a great video! I spent over an hour looking for a photo or video of how to attach the end of the cable to the transmission. The videos I ran across before this didn't give enough detail or weren't close enough. I did it the way you showed and had it attached in seconds!

One thing though--My cable broke near the hole where the clip is. I deduced that it was because the cable rubbed against the edge where you said to "run your cable right through that big opening" (
That was nice of you post this for anyone else that needs to replace the cable on their mower. I love videos like this. They've made my life easier many times! When our Samsung TV died, I found a YouTube video about it and fixed it myself the next day for 98 cents plus tax!
