I have been using one of the zero models (the tiny ones) for a while as sort of an extra controller to take on trips. It has seen some action and I can't complain about the longevity of it considering it pretty much just gets tossed in a bag
I bought one of each as well. They're amazing. I've had them for a few months now and they're still just as awesome as the day I got them.
I had one for about 1 week, as you say the build quality is great, compared to controllers at any price, it looks amazing and feels good in the hands... However their use is convoluted, especially with recalbox where you need to configure a button as a hotkey for shortcuts, you can't use the main power button like on the ps3/4 controllers as it conflicts with the button's other functionnality, and it's so small that pressing it often result in accidental presses on other buttons.. anyway, despite the strong points, I returned it and will keep my ps4 controller for the time being, why can't 8bitdo just make their controller have 1 mode "bluetooth controller" instead of using those key presses at start time to make us pick one?
I also have this controller and find its very handy for portability. only thing I don't like is the d pad can be mushed down hitting everything at once, it doesn't feel like it has a pivot point in the centre. still for SNES then PlayStation player it's a good all rounder.
I have a Buffalo SNES USB controller that I've been using. I'd definitely recommend it if you don't need Bluetooth connectivity. I definitely want to see what you think of that N64 controller; imo there's just nothing that can take the N64 controller's place when playing N64 games- primarily because of its 6 face button layout that we haven't seen since the original Xbox controller
The only one i liked a lot is the SNES one, because i really like that system, but the gold famicon looks really nice too
I purchased one last month and I love it. Dpad is a little sensitive but Im really not complaining. I had no idea they made fight sticks though.
I been using the NES30 pro for a few months now. I love it. it's my go to for raspberry pi gaming.
Also make sure to try it on the nes classic because you can use it on there too. You can get an adapter for 16$ on amazon. I plan to use it on my phone,pc maybe,and on nes classic. Would appreciate if you test it on nes classic as well.

Hey Don't forget to tell people to update to 2.0 firmware that came out few days ago ! It's better to update firmware before pairing to a retropie build.
Hey ETA! love your stuff man, you really streamlined the Pi3 process for me. i picked one of these up, but for the lfe of me cant get the joysticks to work. they respond in kodi, but i cant get them working in retropie, even with a resync and remapping. any thoughts?
I wish they made a controller based off the sega Saturn 6 button controller. That was my favorite for the 16bit era fighting games like street fighter 2

Man I've had the NES30 pro for a year n half when they where not that popular as now. I got a FC30 today in the mail. Had to. Since they brought out the new ones I was thinking dang they might phase em out. Maybe I'm wrong but I got one anyway. Out of the box though it connected to my Pi3 and basically it works on the menu moving but then into a game n nothing. But my NES30 PRO is working. Weird.
